Bible Studies

Women: Sundays & Thursdays; Run in 6-8 week cycles; contact This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it for info.
Men: Thursdays, 6:30 AM, AK's Coffee

These Bible Studies are times for small groups to come together with the purpose of studying, understanding and applying the Scriptures to the business of everyday life. All are encouraged to plug into one of these studies.

Home Groups

1st Wednesday of every month, 6:00-7:30 PM

These groups meet for the purpose of fostering loving, praying community within the church.  On the 1st Wednesday of the month, 5 groups meet around Auburn/Opelika for dinner and a time of sharing/praying together.  One group is made up of young couples/post-college students, and one is made up of couples with kids in the home.  The other groups, made up of a mixture of all ages, including college students, meet at the homes of our elders.

Discipleship Studies

Sunday 9:30 AM – Church classrooms
This is a time when the Church family comes together in age appropriate settings to study and learn the Scriptures. To this end, classes are available for children, youth and adults.

Women in Ministry

ladies

It is more than a program - it describes who the women of FPC are and what they're about.  We exist to reach the hearts, renew the minds and transform the lives of women in our church, our neighborhoods, our communities and beyond, all to the glory of God.  To that end we value community, hospitality, family and community, as well as personal prayer and study.

Women are invited to join with us in ministry as we come alongside and encourage one another.  Whether we're studying together, serving together, playing together or praying together, we are Women IN Ministry.

Nursery

The nursery staff and volunteers of FPC are here to do two things:

  1. Love children
  2. Nurture children in the gospel

The nursery staff and volunteers of FPC are committed to:

  • Your peace of mind as you worship and participate in the life of FPC
  • Your child’s safety while in the nursery
  • Biblical instruction for children of all ages

What age children should be in the nursery?

6 weeks - 1 year olds: Infant Room
2 - 4 yrs: Main Nursery

How may I drop off/pick up my child?

To drop off a child for the first time, simply take the child to the nursery sign in area and fill out a form (one time only). You will be given a tag with your child's name on it and will be asked to return the tag upon pick up of the child. You will also be given a pager, in the event that we need to contact you during the service.

To pick up a child, you will need to present your child's corresponding tag to the nursery worker. Children will only be given back to parents with their child's corresponding tag. Please don't be offended when we insist that you present a tag to receive your child, as this policy is in place to keep your child safe.
