The purpose of the Men’s Ministry at FPO is simple: To encourage men in the church as they seek to become disciples of Christ, and to assist them as they grow in their faith, impacting their spheres of influence for Him. We accomplish this through small groups, men’s events, and a men’s retreat. Contact: Scott Tippins
Our Vision For Men’s Ministry:
“In today’s frenetic society, people rarely develop intimate friendships. Instead, they spend their lives essentially disconnected from others, rushing through life content with brief visits and casual conversations. But what if one were to develop a community, a spiritual community, of people who walked with and supported each other through life’s journey? A community of real friends who listened to each other’s personal tragedies without merely trying to fix the problems, who encouraged and nurtured each other’s strengths, and who accepted people for who they really are, instead of the image they try to portray.”
– Larry Crabb, “The Safest Place On Earth”
Men, you are invited to join us every Saturday morning at 8:00 a.m. in the living room of the White House for our Men’s Fellowship Group. We are currently studying the book of Ephesians for a couple more weeks, and will then be starting a new series by Paul Tripp called, “Good And Angry”. If you are looking for a place where you can study God’s Word, pray, and fellowship with other men in our church then you are invited to join us on Saturday mornings in the White House living room. For more information, contact Mitch Galishoff at the church. Hope to see you there!
