Sunday worship services are at 9:15 and 10:45 am
Our Sunday worship services typically begin at 9:15 am and 10:45 am. Get more details about how we spend our time on Sunday morning and why, and get even more specifics about Sunday morning time for families with children and youth.
We love when families worship together! We encourage families with children or youth to worship together at the 9:15 service, and then participate in Fellowship Groups and Sunday school at 10:45. Children’s Sunday school and the Youth Fellowship Group are offered only at 10:45 am.
Sunday School and Fellowship Groups
We have year-round Sunday school classes for children and Youth Fellowship Groups to serve those age 2 through 12th grade. The list of children’s and youth offerings can be found here. Adults participate in stage-in-life-based Fellowship Groups. Get more info on the Fellowship Groups.
FPO to Host Presbytery Meeting
FPO is excited to host the next Presbytery meeting. The meeting will take place on January 26-27, and we will have pastors and elders from as far away as Missouri, Arkansas, and Kentucky. In order to be good hosts we WILL need assistance, so if you are interested in helping please email or call Chris Cornett at the church office. It would be a low commitment level, as we have plenty of small things that you could do that would be a big help.
Attention College Students: FPO Home-Cooked Sunday
On February 11, we have a number of FPO families who would like to help you feel at home by having you over for a home-cooked meal after church. In the lobby of the sanctuary there is a small table with the sign-up lists. The host families are listed. Please write down your name AND phone number, take down the address, and then all you have to do is show up on February 11th after church and enjoy yourself.
Our next youth group event (grades 7-12) will be Sunday night, January 28. Be looking for more information. Details will be sent by email, and will be posted in the bulletin that morning.
Near His Heart
The Near His Heart banquet for special needs families is coming up Friday, February 2nd at 6:00 pm at Lakeview Baptist Church in Auburn. Near His Heart was created as a night of encouragement and hope for parents/caregivers of children with special needs. Many volunteers are needed to make this special event happen. Go to nearhisheart.org for more information or for guest or volunteer registration. The event is free and space is limited. You may also e-mail questions to email@example.com or call 334-887-3909 for more information.

Interested in Missions? Perspectives course being offered in Auburn!
There will be a 15 week class offered called “Perspectives”. It is designed around 4 vantage points or perspectives — Biblical, Historical, Cultural & Strategic. Each highlights different aspects of God’s global purpose. The class will be hosted by Covenant Pres in Auburn, on Tuesday evenings, January 16-April 24. For more info, contact Steve Shiflett, or check out the Perspectives website, or pick up a brochure from the table in the lobby.
Sunday Morning Parking
Please note that there is NO PARKING allowed on our side of 3rd Avenue (the rear of our property), stretching the whole block between 9th and 10th Streets.
Our parking may be a little bit challenging these days. Please allow an extra few minutes to get here and get parked. A parking diagram is available here and is also on display in the foyer of the sanctuary.
If you are interested in joining FPO, or you would like to learn more about our church and/or our denomination, Noah will be teaching another round of the Discover FPO class soon. Stay tuned for more info.

For more information about our Phase 2 Building Campaign, the letter and information shared HERE should provide you with an overview of where we are prayerfully headed. God is always faithful, and we have no doubt He will be faithful to us in the midst of this season of prayerful preparation and discernment! If you have questions, feel free to reach out to Noah or Bill Price at any time.
