GUIDE TO WORSHIP
Hate what God hates. Love what God loves. Sounds easy, doesn’t it? But it’s not. More times than not, we find it quite easy to hate what we think God hates but in reality, we are hating what we hate. As humans, it’s easy to hate the wrong things because that’s our nature. Loving is harder, especially when it comes to loving each other – the Body of Christ. And, it is not possible without the grace of Christ. It is hard to sacrifice for one another. It is hard to see past each other’s imperfections. It is hard to simply love one another. Christ loved us, as imperfect as we are, to the point of death on a cross. God calls us His beloved because we were ransomed by the blood of His Beloved. As we worship together this morning, take a look around at your brothers and sisters worshiping with you – and love them. Let us hate sin and long to see it mortified but let us also love one another, and love with a passion that comes only from the grace of Jesus.
