FPO Youth is part of the overall ministry of First Presbyterian Church, and therefore its mission is the same: to multiply & grow disciples of Jesus through Gospel-centered Worship, Gospel-saturated Community, Gospel-shaped Service, & Gospel-motivated Mission. Alongside the rest of our church family, we pray that students would have a life-long relationship with Jesus and that they grow in their love of worshiping Jesus within His church!
Currently, there are two main avenues for students to get connected to FPO Youth: Equip Hour and Sunday Night. Students 6th-12th grade are welcome to these weekly opportunities to grow closer to Christ and to one another!
FPOyouth Equip Hour at 9:15 a.m.
Each Sunday morning from 9:15-10:15 a.m., middle and high school students meet to enjoy reconnecting with one another as brothers and sisters in Christ, to study God’s Word together, and to discuss how it applies to our lives. Middle School students meet in The Corner for a discussion-style lesson, and High School students meet in The White House for a small group Bible study similar to FPO's community groups.
Sunday Nights at 6:00 p.m.
Sunday Night is our youth group meeting from 6:00-7:30 p.m. on Sunday nights at the church. The evening begins with some free time, and then we play a game together and study God’s Word. We encourage students to invite their friends to Sunday Night, and it’s a perfect place for guests between 6-12th grade to check out the youth ministry at our church and begin to meet others their age!
